Cloud Accounting and QuickBooks
June 13, 2017
Cloud accounting is becoming more and more popular in recent years due to the ability to access information anywhere that supplies an internet connection including via a mobile phone.
Quickbooks is just one of the cloud accounting software packages available in the market however it is the one we mainly use at Chiks due to its ease of use and array of functions that we feel benefit our clients.
Due to its simple processing ability Quickbooks aims its features “for the business, not the accountant”, allowing as much or as little reporting detail as required for each users individual needs.
The most useful, time-saving function it offers is the live banking feed which will automatically upload transactions using statements available via online banking. It will also recognise recurring payees and amounts relating to invoices already entered on to its system.
This enables users to produce various reports including the VAT returns with very minimal manual processing.
Another great function is that it allows us as your accountant to access the live data remotely at period ends or should any queries arise.
Chiks have over 60 trained members of staff on Quickbooks Online so we can manage day to day queries as well as offer bespoke training sessions catered to your specific business needs.
We are also currently offering demo sessions for anyone interested in learning more about the software and how it could benefit you as both a business and as a client providing information.
Our list of Quickbooks clients is growing by the day and the feedback we have received has been extremely positive. One or two have even commented on how it has changed their life!
