The intake also included ATT (Association of Taxation Technicians) trainees George Silverwood, Evie Proctor and Muhammed Desai.

Jacob Broadbent, Frank Chatfield and Hannah Kay are appointed as financial planning trainees, Azhar Jabir as an audit senior and Matthew Woods and Nazeem Patel as corporate assistants. Matthew Wharfe has joined the MHA Moore & Smalley team on an internship.

Graham Gordon, managing partner of the Preston-headquartered business, said: “This is one of our biggest ever intakes of new trainees.

“Staying at the forefront of our sector means continually bringing fresh approaches and talent into our firm.”

He added: “It’s how we’ll ensure clients continue placing their trust in us. We wish the trainees all the best as they embark on their careers with us.”
