North West accountancy firm announces one of its ‘biggest ever’ trainee intakes

MHA Moore & Smalley, the North West accountancy firm, has taken on a raft of trainees.

 

The £15.5m-turnover business said its 20 new trainees, based in different departments across its office network, were appointed following growth in domestic and international markets.

 

MHA Moore & Smalley’s AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) trainees are Hannah Demain, Danielle Harrison, Oliver Pitt, Josh Mckay, Olivia Blaydes, Aaron Lonsdale, Katherine Hughes, Oliver Taylor and Catherine Steur.

 

The intake also included ATT (Association of Taxation Technicians) trainees Evie Proctor, Muhammed Desai and another.

 

Michael Beardsmore, meanwhile, joined the company as an ACA (Association of Chartered Accountants) trainee.

 

Jacob Broadbent, Frank Chatfield and Hannah Kay are appointed as financial planning trainees, Azhar Jabir as an audit senior and Nazeem Patel and another as corporate assistants.

 

Graham Gordon, managing partner of the Preston-headquartered business, said: “This is one of our biggest ever intakes of new trainees.

 

“Staying at the forefront of our sector means continually bringing fresh approaches and talent into our firm.”

 

He added: “It’s how we’ll ensure clients continue placing their trust in us. We wish the trainees all the best as they embark on their careers with us.”

 

MHA Moore & Smalley has operations in Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside, Cumbria and the East Midlands.
