Three new partners at MHA Chiks
November 7, 2017
North West accountancy firm MHA Chiks has three new partners after its latest round of promotions.
The promotions come after a period of significant growth for the firm which reported record turnover of £15.5m earlier this year.
Graham Gordon, managing partner of MHA Chiks, said: “It’s a pleasure to welcome Ginni, Joe and Paul to the partnership. This firm has been successful throughout its long history by continually investing in and developing its people and many of our current partners started out with us as trainees.
“It’s great to reward that kind of loyalty and hard work. Making these promotions is all part of our plan for ensuring the long-term success and sustainability of the firm.”
Ginni joined MHA Chiks as an accounts junior in 1995 after completing her A Levels. Today she is responsible for a varied portfolio of medium and larger owner-managed businesses offering accountancy, audit and business support services. She also heads up the firm’s manufacturing and engineering sector team.
Joe joined the firm in 2005 after graduating from University of York and became a chartered accountant in 2008. He manages a diverse portfolio of clients across many industries, including groups reporting £100m plus turnover annually.
Paul also joined MHA Chiks in 2005 after graduating from Manchester Metropolitan University and qualified as a chartered accountant in 2008. His portfolio consists of businesses of all sizes from partnerships to multinationals.
On October 1, the firm changed its name to MHA Chiks (from Chiks) to reflect its growing national and international reach. MHA is a national network of independent accountancy firms of which Chiks has been part of since 2010.
